Marianne Vos has claimed victory in the elite women's event at the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships in Nannup, Western Australia, breaking away to claim the title after rival Rosa Kloser fell in the closing stages. Dutch riders took charge of the women's competition throughout the challenging muddy parcours.

Vos was clearly affected by the result, saying the win meant a lot following a tough 2026 season. The result delivers one more world title to the Dutch veteran's remarkable career, with the championship staged in Australia for the first time.
