Ticketmaster's president has admitted to "stuck transfers" following a ticket delivery failure last Friday, raising new concerns over the company's reliability. A separate report pointed to the disruption as proof the risk that comes with placing all trust in one ticketing service.
The trouble comes as a reseller listing a Bruno Mars ticket said she was taken by surprise by the fees Ticketmaster tacked onto her listed price. Rival SeatGeek, meanwhile, unveiled TourIQ, a predictive pricing tool aimed at live event sellers, positioning itself as an alternative at a time when confidence in Ticketmaster is taking hits.
