Charlie Woerner, the tight end, recorded his first NFL touchdown during the team's game in Madrid. The score came in his seventh year in the NFL. Woerner had gone six seasons without a touchdown. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. completed a short pass that set up the scoring play. The Falcons took an early lead over the Cincinnati Bengals. The game took place on Sunday, 8 November 2026, in Spain's capital. Woerner's touchdown was noted by NFL.com as a milestone in his career. The match was part of NFL Week 9 activities overseas.
